July 6, 2018 -- julia (aka, *soft vowel sounds*) will be playing a “Quirky Queer Bands” show at El Rio (3158 Mission Street, San Francisco). The other bands will be Polythene Pam and Scorpio Moon. Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm-11pm, $5 cover, must be 21 & up, more details here.

June 9, 2018 -- julia (aka, *soft vowel sounds*) will be playing a benefit for LYRIC Center for LGBTQQ Youth. The event will be held at Laughing Monk Brewing (1439 Egbert Ave, Unit A, San Francisco, CA) who will be donating a portion of the evening's sales to the cause. The other acts include Polythene Pam and Mya Byrne. More details here.

April 8, 2018 -- julia (aka, *soft vowel sounds*) will be playing at the Ivy Room (860 San Pablo Ave, Albany, CA) with Polythene Pam and TBA. Music starts at 6pm, show ends at 9pm, $6-$10 sliding scale NOTAFLOF, must be 21+, more details here.

December 2, 2014 -- julia (aka, *soft vowel sounds*) will be performing a couple of songs for the Bad Dyke Book Release + Bawdy Storytelling, featuring Allison Moon, Dixie De La Tour and other storytellers TBA. May 17, 2014 -- julia (aka, *soft vowel sounds*) will be performing songs from the new *soft vowel sounds* record, along with several other new songs & Bitesize classics at the OUT/LOUD 2014: Queer & Trans Women's Music Festival at University of Oregon, Eugene (WOW Hall, 291 W 8th Ave, Eugene OR 97401). the show starts at 6pm, julia goes on at 7pm sharp. general admission = $8, less expensive for UO students & under 18 folks, no one turned away; advance tickets can be purchased here.
